Building the analytics infrastructure for capital markets.
FinX Capital Markets is the firm behind FinX AMP, a cash-flow and scenario analytics platform used by insurance, asset management, and banking clients that include a leading global alternative asset manager & reinsurance company, Fortune 500 life and property insurers, top-tier wealth managers, and specialty investment firms.
Born from a gap in the market.
FinX Capital Markets was founded by quantitative analysts and technologists to address a fundamental gap: the analytics systems used by the world's most advanced financial institutions were too slow, lacked coverage, and could not handle the computational load of scenarios applied to the whole portfolio.
We built FinX AMP around a different premise: one analytics engine covering the full fixed-income market, including structured products through industry-leading structured deal waterfalls and private credit through the Private Deal Author, on a modern C++ compute grid with Python bindings and a transparent methodology.
Today, FinX AMP runs full revaluation of 7,604-position portfolios in 3.5 minutes and the full BMA scenario suite in under two hours, with the same engine serving insurance actuaries, portfolio managers, structured credit desks, and investment teams.
“To deliver the speed, scale, and transparency that modern regulatory frameworks and investment disciplines require, across every asset class, every scenario, every horizon point.”

How we operate at FinX.
At FinX, every member of the team operates by these principles, setting the standard through their actions and decisions. The expectation of leadership applies to everyone.
- 01
Customer Obsession
Leaders prioritize the customer, building and maintaining trust through every interaction. They start from the customer's perspective and work backwards. Competitors are monitored, but customers come first, with external clients and internal stakeholders treated to the same standard of attention.
- 02
Extreme Ownership
Leaders act as owners. They think long-term and put the company's overall success ahead of short-term gains. Responsibility extends beyond immediate tasks, never reduced to a job description. Priorities run in this order: the business, customer relationships, then products.
- 03
Invent and Simplify
Leaders demand innovation and simplicity from their teams, constantly seeking new ideas and ways to streamline how the work gets done. They remain open to external insights and are not restricted by a “not invented here” mindset. Being misunderstood for extended periods is part of the process.
- 04
Are Right, A Lot
Leaders make correct decisions consistently, drawing on strong judgment and instincts. They seek diverse opinions and actively challenge their own beliefs, recognizing that wisdom is built through experience.
- 05
Learn and Be Curious
Leaders are perpetual learners, always working to improve. They pursue new opportunities with curiosity and act on what they discover. Curiosity is a prerequisite, not a nice-to-have.
- 06
Hire and Develop the Best
Leaders raise the performance bar with each hire and promotion, recognizing and nurturing exceptional talent. They develop other leaders and take seriously the responsibility to mentor and teach.
- 07
Insist on the Highest Standards
Leaders hold standards that others may consider unreasonably high. They continually raise those standards, pushing their teams to deliver better products, services, and processes.
- 08
Think Big
Leaders understand that thinking small produces small outcomes. They articulate bold direction that gives their teams a clear horizon, and they anticipate where customers will need them next.
- 09
Bias for Action
Speed matters. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not require extensive analysis. Leaders take calculated risks rather than wait for certainty.
- 10
Frugality
Leaders achieve more with fewer resources. Constraints drive creativity, self-reliance, and invention. Headcount, budget, and fixed costs are not measures of success.
- 11
Earn Trust
Leaders listen actively, speak honestly, and treat others with respect. They are openly self-critical, even when it is uncomfortable, and benchmark themselves and their teams against the best, without inflated self-assessment.
- 12
Dive Deep
Leaders operate at every level of detail and audit frequently. They remain skeptical when the data and the anecdotes disagree. No task is beneath them.
- 13
Have Backbone; Disagree and Commit
Leaders respectfully challenge decisions when they disagree, even when it is uncomfortable. They are steadfast and do not compromise for social harmony. Once a decision is made, they commit to it fully.
- 14
Deliver Results
Leaders focus on the inputs that matter and deliver them with the right quality, on time. Difficult conditions do not change the expectation.
